Staffordshire County Councillor Alan White, Cabinet Member for Care, visited Northfield Village recently to see how progress is coming along on the dementia hub.
County Councillor White said: “As a county council we are committed to ensuring residents have access to the support they need to lead as fulfilled and independent lives for as long as possible. “We very much recognise the devastating impact dementia can have not only on individuals, but on their family and friends. Working closely with our partners –including health—means people living at Limewood and in Northfield Village as a whole will get access to a whole range of services to help them live the life that they want for as long as possible. These benefits will be available to the wider community, as they will be able to take full advantage of the facilities on site too.”
